With combined forces we want to not only clean up the mess but raise awareness about the importance of collecting and sorting plastics, rubbers and other non biological waste to bring it to the recycling center so it can leave Ahanta West again without doing harm to the ecosystem.

Our mission
The Kumulipo Movement advocates for the protection and promotion of indigenous and nomadic cultures, communities, belief systems, and landscapes that are in conflict with the progress of modern society. Indigenous knowledge is combined with sustainable, modern, and scientific approaches to create sanctuaries that foster education, cultural exchange, and environmentally conscious development.
The members of the Kumulipo Movement are committed to preserving traditions in harmony with nature and the environment. Through clean-up campaigns and the establishment of sanctuaries, these traditions are intended to be preserved and revitalized.
Our goal is to foster a harmonious relationship between humans and nature and establish it for generations to come.
Together, we can raise awareness for nature-related ways of living and social engagement to make a sustainable, positive change in communities around the world!

AKATAKYI CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN

The Akatakyi Clean-Up Campaign is an example of the power of individual action and engagement in bringing about positive change in our communities. Founded at the end of 2020 by Issac Nda Kwofie and Christoph Peinhaupt, the campaign focused on waste management in the coastal village of Prusi Akatakyi in southwestern Ghana. The local team of six members started by cleaning the beach but soon realized that the entire village needed a comprehensive waste management system.
Through collaboration with local authorities, NGOs, and chiefs (local leaders), the team prepared a sustainable and effective waste disposal infrastructure and created two beach parks. One of them will open it's doors as our Akpuho Beach Sanctuary - Tavern & Lodges this year. These efforts resulted in a clean, vibrant, and sustainable community. The Akatakyi Clean-Up Campaign is currently operating in the Ahanta West District in Ghana on a self-initiated basis and can be recruited there. It has an educational mission and serves as an inspiration for similar initiatives worldwide, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and collaboration for long-term sustainability and development.

For the whole progress we keep all the efforts as simple and reasonable to guarantee a most beneficial income for the locals and the coummunity. The A-T-C is the first company as a Start-Up of the K-l-M and is working and selling under the Codex of the Kumulipo-Movement.
Trading for Living not for Profit
With the acceptance of the Codex, the A-T-C can act commercial but every seller has to invest the half of their income into the Akataky Clean-Up Campaign Services NGO. Toghether with the KLM sustainable and autarc concepts are made and realised to protect the future of all local nature and educate local people to preserve and maintain it with best local and international knowledge and wisdom.
To make the village become self-sufficient and independent from crisis and to keep it from polution, desease and climate change - For Akatakyi is still an almost untouched paradise where it´s not to late to do things right...
My old Hawaiian Uncle always said to me:
"If we take care of the Land, the Land will take care of us"
that´s why the Land shall be preserved in rightousness
and not by laws or profit but by everyones sacred duty"
